About Me

About Me Hello, I’m Ahmad Reza Bozorgzad, a Registered Psychotherapist with over two decades of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges.
My practice focuses on helping people navigate parenting struggles, family conflict, anger, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. I offer a calm, respectful space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to make lasting changes. Whether you’re working through daily stressors or deeper emotional patterns, I bring practical tools, evidence-based strategies, and compassionate insight to our work together.
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to your unique goals and experiences. I also draw on my background in group therapy, crisis intervention, and multicultural counselling to meet the diverse needs of clients from all walks of life.
Prior to establishing my private practice in Ontario, I worked extensively in both clinical and academic settings — including serving as Dean of the Psychology Department at a prominent university in Iran.
I speak both English and Farsi, though the majority of my sessions are done in Farsi. I understand the importance of culturally sensitive therapy. Whether you’re reaching out as an individual, part of a couple, or as a parent, I’m here to help you strengthen your relationships and feel more in control of your emotional world.
If you’re ready to take the first step, I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation. Let’s explore whether we’re the right fit to work together. Ready to invest in your wellbeing? Book a session
